I’ve had this default WordPress post up for just over a year, with no further update.  And it’s been nearly two years since I bought the nakedstartup.com domain name.  I had such great plans for a blog, but alas…

For probably the 10th time, I’m going to try blogging again.  I think I’ve gotten stuck in the past for a few reasons:  1) feeling like I needed to write really compelling posts that would take me hours to write, 2) trying to write daily or weekly and feeling overwhelmed, and 3) trying too hard to come up with topics that I thought would be interesting, but would require lots of research for me to get right.

Well, no more.  I’m a pragmatic guy who really likes building processes and systems.  Luckily, that’s come in handy while building Contactually.

So I’m going to write about that.  I figure there are probably at least a few people who would be interested in how we’ve built Contactually over the years, and the processes/systems/habits we’ve developed.  I’ll try to be as open and transparent as I can.  Rather than provide advice, I’ll seek to spell out what we’ve done, what we’ve learned, and what we think has worked so far.

My goal is to post 1-2 times per month.  Thanks to Sabel for keeping me accountable so far, and for being the only person who seemed excited about the prospect of me writing a blog besides me. :)
